Mark Cowens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fieser Funeral Home from Mar. 26 to Mar. 27, 2026.
Cowens, Mark Anthony entered into rest on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 3 days. Preceded in death by his father Larry G. Cowens, his mother Shirley Kelley (nee Livingston) and his stepfather Victor Kelley. Dear brother of David Cowens. Loving uncle of his niece Amber (Robert) Laffoon, her children Aubrie, Mackenzie, Colton and Elliott; his nephews Adam Wright and Alex Wright. Dear longtime friend of Dave and Donna Bibb. Our dear cousin and friend. He will be remembered as a man whose life was defined by loyalty, passion, and a generous heart. In his younger years, he found great joy in music and could often be found at concerts, embracing the energy and connection they brought. He was the kind of person who would do anything for those he loved-family, friends, or even a stranger in need-always putting others before himself. He had a deep appreciation for the worlds of Star Trek and Star Wars, and spent many hours happily tinkering on cars, a hobby that reflected both his curiosity and skill. His love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and cars was a constant throughout his life. For nearly 30 years, he was a devoted and dependable employee at Fieser Nursing Center, where his commitment and care left a lasting impact. Above all, he cherished his family, especially his brothers' children and their children, loving them as if they were his own and always standing ready to support, guide, and protect them. He would love it if we would all "live long and prosper." A celebration of life will be at a later date.
