Mark Crouch Obituary Mark A. Crouch, age 65 of Bloomington, Indiana passed away Friday,
October 20, 2023 in the IU Health Hospice House Bloomington.
Born July 22, 1958 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Donald F. and Evelyn Jean (Kroener) Crouch.
He graduated from Salem High School in 1976. He lived for many years in Arizona and worked as a landscaper. He returned to Indiana and worked for the past 13 years as the Director of Transportation for Dr. Black's Eye Associates.
Mark was a musician and story teller and with his guitar and harmonica loved nothing better than to bring those around him into "his" song. He was an avid golfer. Mark never worried much about the future but like Shadow and his other dog companions over the years lived mostly 'in the moment' viewing everyone he met as an old friend or a new friend.
Survivors include:
His fiancee': Janelle Lewis of Bloomington
Mother: Jean Crouch of Louisville
2 Sisters: Donna O'Brien of Louisville and Gail Morgan (Bob) of Shelbyville, Indiana
2 Brothers: Greg Crouch (Mary Loro) of Bloomington and Gary Crouch (Denise) of Cincinnati, Ohio
11 nephews and nieces and 24 grand nieces and grand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Donald Crouch.
Visitation is at Dawalt Funeral Home from 9-11 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023, followed by a Mass at 11:30 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Salem
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name may be made to Hospice House of Bloomington, Indiana or the Humane Society of Washington County, Indiana
