It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Joseph Curtis, Sr., of Plaistow, NH on March 28th, 2025 at the age of 66. Mark passed peacefully at Exeter Hospital with two of his loving children at his side.
For nearly 30 years, Mark worked in a supervisory role with the city of Boston Traffic Department. He loved spending weekends with his family camping at Tuxbury Pond and Kings and Queens Campgrounds. What made him most proud, without a doubt, was his family.
Mark was predeceased by his loving wife of 20 years, Patricia (Chapman) Curtis and his brother, John Curtis. He is survived by his children, Mark Jr. of Rockland, MA, April Tucker and her husband, Wally of Plaistow, NH, and Cindy Brown of Johns Island, SC. Mark will be dearly missed by his greatest joy, his grandchildren, Lucian Burns-Curtis, Skylar Tucker, Nicole Tucker, and his soon-to-be grandson, Thomas Tucker, who is due in just a few short weeks. Mark is also survived by two sisters, Jean and Jane, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for Mark will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
