DiGAETANO, Mark. Age 91. August 27, 2024.
Beloved husband of Angela, for 65 wonderful years. Cherished father of Linda (Raymond) Marah, the late Mark, Steven (Teresa) DiGaetano and Laura (Christopher) Scott. Proud grandfather of Jennifer Marah, Raymond (Delaine) Marah, Christine (Brad) Silorey, Anthony DiGaetano, Tiana (Michael) Darr, Chloe Scott, Alisa Scott. Doting great-grandfather of Nathan Marah, Giuliana Silorey, Marco Silorey, Henry Marah and Max Marah. Dear uncle of Richard (Tracy) Saverino. Preceded in death by his mother Zena Kauffman (nee Saputo) and sisters, Rosemary and Petrina. Mark was a proud US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked at Detroit Edison for 44 years. Mark loved to travel and sports - playing and spectating. Mark was always excited for college football. Mark will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to The Veterans of Foreign Wars (www.vfw.org). Visitation Monday 3-8pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Tuesday 9:30am until the 10:00am Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church 95 Market St. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook @ WujekCalcaterra.com
