On July 27, 2025, Mark J. Ewing, Sr., beloved husband of Elizabeth R. Ewing (nee Baldwin); devoted father of Elizabeth Pennington and her husband Michael, Mark J. Ewing, Jr. and his wife Katie, and Rev. Kevin Ewing; loving grandfather of James, Joshua, Daniel, Elizabeth, and Dominic; dear brother of Raymond Ewing and his wife Mary Ellen and Sandra Fahrman and her late husband Michael; also survived by extended family and friends. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26), on Thursday, July 31st, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, 1450 Abingdon Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009, on Friday, August 1st, at 11 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Francis de Sales Capital Campaign Fund.
