Kelly A. Ewing

Born on the 11th of September, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA, Kelly Ann Ewing was a beacon of resilience, courage, and unwavering loyalty. Known affectionately as "Aunt Ki" to her cherished nieces and nephews, Kelly brought a unique warmth and light to every life she touched. She was not only a devoted daughter, sister, motherand mom mom, but also a best friend to her mother, Elaine Kane, with whom she shared a bond that was truly special. In her professional life, Kelly served as an Emergency Room Clerk, embodying the very definition of a tireless caregiver. She was the epitome of selflessness, putting everyone else before herself. Her resilience was admired by her colleagues and her courage inspired everyone she worked with. She was a loving "Mom mom" who cherished every moment spent with her granddaughter, Harper and grandson Hunter. Kelly's unwavering loyalty was evident in her dedication to her family and friends. Her home in Philadelphia was always filled with laughter, love, and the contentment of being surrounded by loved ones, including her beloved animals. Kelly's legacy is carried forward by her mother Elaine Kane; her children, Kristen Cardone (Luigi); her granddaughter, Harper, grandson Hunter; her siblings, Kara Hawe (Bob), Thomas Kane (Kim), Andrew Kane (Cindy), Daniel Kane; her nieces and nephews, Elaine Hawe, Samantha Hawe, Robert Hawe and Melissa Kane; and her loyal friend, Lynnette Orsino. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Kane. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00 am at St Jerome's Church, 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am at the church. Interment will be private at the family's request.
