Mark Ray Fairbanks, 64, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Mark was born on February 14, 1961, in Dumas, Texas to Raymond and Joanne Fairbanks. He married Tammy (Reid) Fairbanks on July 4th, 1984, In Stinnett, Texas. They were married for almost 40 years when Tammy passed away on June 28, 2024. They were soulmates, now reunited in Heaven. Mark loved his family more than anything! He was a proud dad and Papa. He enjoyed playing board games and listening to music with his kids. He was a hard worker; always early to bed and early to rise in order to get his day started. He had a wonderful sense of humor and took pride in teaching his kids and grandkids every silly riddle or joke he knew! Mark was a great friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Fairbanks; his wife, Tammy Fairbanks; and his son Alex.
Survivors include his daughters, Amber Cunningham and husband Jason of Dodge City, Kansas, Ashley Rogers and husband Gene of Cimarron, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Makenzie Anderson and husband Gabriel, Hannah Cunningham and partner DeShaun Williams, Max Cunningham, Aleya Fairbanks and Aubrie Fairbanks, Courtney Rogers, Kristen Roetzer and husband Brad; great grandson, Reeve Anderson; mother, Joanne Fairbanks; sisters, Marsha Kuehl, Malissa Mitchell and husband Ron; best friends, Scott and Gayle Crawford, Marty Elwell; many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Lieb Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held following the graveside at First Christian Church at 11 am in Stinnett with Pastors James Stephens and Bob Miller officiating.
