Mark's professional journey led him through notable roles at Nortel, Peden Steel, and Exide Electronics, where his dedication and skills left an indelible mark on those he worked with.
In life, Mark was known for his easy-going nature, kindness, gentleness, and a remarkable sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. His warm spirit and infectious laughter made him a cherished friend and confidant to many.
Mark was a devout member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, where he found solace, community, and strength in his faith. His commitment to his church and spirituality served as a guiding light throughout his life.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Leonard Ferski and Freda Elizabeth Harmon Ferski, and his sister-in-law, Colleen Elizabeth Blythe Ferski.
He is survived by his brother, Philip Ferski of Cary, loving cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Arrangements to celebrate Mark's life are currently pending and will be announced at a later time.
Mark Allen Ferski's legacy of kindness, humor, and faith will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace in the loving embrace of his Lord.
The family would like to extend a warm invitation to friends and loved ones to join them in paying their respects and celebrating the life of their beloved Mark on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Time: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
Location: Wake Memorial Park Mausoleum
Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held to honor and remember Mark.

Location: Wake Memorial Park

I went to a Ted Nugent concert in Johnson City on a Monday night with Mark. We may have been juniors in high school. We didn´t want to leave. Mark loved music. Years later, I visited him in Cary. He had a room dedicated to Kiss and other rock and roll bands. I will miss his spirit. I wish we could have done just one more event. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
