Mark Foley Obituary
Mark D. Foley, age 44, of Milton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at Accent Care in Milton. Born on April 18, 1981, in Norwood, MA. Mark was the beloved son of Janice Foley of Trinity, NC, and Stephen Foley of Falmouth, MA. Brother of Stephen Foley Jr (predeceased) and sister of Michelle Foley Perr of Portland, OR.
Mark was raised in the close-knit community of Milton. He attended St. Sebastian's Country Day School before going to Milton High School, where he played goalie for the Milton Varsity Hockey Team. He went on to further his education at Boston College, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
Mark was a respected Fleet Supervisor at Foley Food Services, a family business in Norwood where he contributed significantly for several years.. Mark also channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into founding Ridgeback Printing, a testament to his creativity and his knack for business. Additionally, his warm and personable nature shone through in his role as a bartender at several local Boston establishments, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and engaging conversations.
Mark's love for sports, especially football, dominated his Sunday afternoons. Any sport, anytime (well, maybe not soccer ) Mark would watch. Especially if it affected his Fantasy Football or FanDuel picks. This love of sports was shared by his brother, Steve-his best friend.
Mark also had a particular affection for dogs, especially his beloved Ridgebacks, who were a source of joy and companionship throughout his life.
Mark's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his generous spirit, and his unwavering loyalty. Mark's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless lives he touched with his kind-hearted nature.
The void left by his passing will be felt by many, but the memories of his life and the impact he had on those around him will continue to shine brightly. As we say goodbye to Mark, we celebrate the remarkable man he was and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts. May he rest in peace, knowing he was truly loved and will be forever remembered.
Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave, Milton, on Sunday November 2nd from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial private.
