In Loving Memory

Mark Timothy Haney II

May 17, 1982 – August 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Timothy Haney II, a beloved son, father, brother, friend, and the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan we know. He left us too soon, but not without leaving a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.

A professional mechanic by trade, Mark could fix just about anything-but it was his ability to lift spirits and bring joy to others that truly made him special. Known to many as the class clown, his sense of humor was unmatched. Whether he was cracking jokes or simply being his authentic, goofy self, he had a way of making every room brighter.

He cherished his time with family and friends. From sharing Twizzlers on the couch to playing Roblox with little ones, those moments were big to him-and to us. His love for sports, especially cheering on his Dallas Cowboys, was passionate and infectious. Sundays just won't be the same without hearing him shout at the TV, win or lose.

Music was another love of his. He sang his heart out every chance he got, and whether or not he hit every note, he always hit every heart.

Mark was a fighter through and through. No matter what life threw at him, he faced it with strength, humor, and hope. He always saw the good in people-even when they couldn't see it in themselves. With a heart of gold and pure, unconditional love, he lived his life ready to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He was loved by many, and his memory will live on through each and every good moment we were lucky enough to share with him. Whether it's the sound of a laugh, the hum of a song, or a Cowboys game on TV, we will always feel him with us.
