MARK A. JANDREAU
MASSENA – Mark A. Jandreau, 64, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at his home.
Mark was born in Potsdam on May 9, 1961, the son of the late Lloyd and Irene (White) Jandreau. He was a graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School. Following graduation, he entered the United States Army, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge. Upon returning home, he entered college where he took courses in horticulture. On February 14, 1987, he married Karen Beckstead in Massena. She predeceased him on January 11, 2013.
Mark worked for various companies in the Massena area including Slavin's, JAC Tower Service, and was a commercial cleaner for ARC. He also did private duty lawn care for many years. He enjoyed gardening and cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandson, Noah and his son, Markus.
Mark is survived by his children, Bryan and Courtney Beckstead of North Carolina and Amanda and Will Ayotte of Massena; his grandchildren, Noah, Peyton, and Gavin Beckstead; his great grandson, Markus Beckstead; his brothers, Lloyd Jandreau of Georgia, Terry Jandreau of Utica, Roy (Jeanette) Jandreau of St. Regis Falls, and William (Cheryl) Jandreau of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Andy Jandreau.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however at Mark's request there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
