Mark A. Katt, 66, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born on February 28, 1959, in Sheboygan, Mark was a beloved son of the late Robert and Darlyn (Mueller) Katt. He graduated from Sheboygan County Christian High School and dedicated his life to his craft as a proud steamfitter with Local Union 400.
Mark was a man who loved the outdoors—whether it was hunting, fishing, or exploring trails on his four-wheeler, he found joy in nature and adventure. His easy going spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brother, Mike Katt; sister, Linda Katt; and his stepdaughters: Christy (James) Goode of Sheboygan, Leah Piscitello, and Amanda (Michael) Leung of New Bern, NC. Mark was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren—Lucas, Logan, Olivia, Emmett, Kai, Emilia, and Cecilia—who brought him endless happiness. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law, Jim Parisek of Sheboygan and his son Tatum; and sister-in-law, Lorrie (John) Schwinn of Sheboygan and her daughter Alexis.
Mark now joins in eternal peace his parents, his beloved son Travis Katt, and his wife Dawn Katt.
In keeping with Mark’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. A celebration of his life may be planned in the future, where family and friends can gather to honor his memory.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Aurora Home Hospice nurses and the compassionate caregivers at Home Instead for their support and kindness during this time.
