Mark Gary Madsen, 40, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2026.

Born on January 11, 1986, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, Mark was the beloved son of Robin Lynn (née Barnes) Madsen and Paul Gary Madsen. He was raised in Phillipsburg and was a proud graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

Mark had a deep love for anime, music, and basketball that brought him joy throughout his life and were often shared with family and friends. Known for his easy going personality and kind heart, Mark enjoyed spending time with those closest to him and creating lasting memories.

He worked for UPS in Tatamy, Pennsylvania, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, Robin and Paul Madsen; his sister, Kristen Madsen; his brother, Andrew Madsen and his wife, Tasha; his children, Lucy Madsen Vitiello, Damien Madsen, and Brenden Madsen; and his beloved companion, Danielle Vitiello. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Wyatt Vitiello and Harlee Olewnik, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mark will be remembered for his love of family and the quiet strength he brought to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 4:00pm until 5:00 pm with a service of remembrance beginning at 5:00 pm at Knoll- DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service located at 142 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation was held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family with Mark's final expenses. Checks may be made payable to Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service and mailed to Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. The family is deeply grateful for the kindness, compassion, and support shown to them during this difficult time.
