Mark J. Maicher

Mark J. "M.J." Maicher, 74 of Ridley Park died on April 8, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late John and Frances Emma Marsilio Maicher, he was raised in Wyndmoor and lived in Media before moving to Ridley Park in 1987
M.J. was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, class of 1968 and then attended Temple University and the University of Dallas. He started his career as a Locomotive Engineer with the Reading Railroad (now Conrail). M.J. was devoted to the Roman Catholic Church and was a member of St. Jude R.C. Church in Eddystone. The most important parts of his life were his faith, family and friends.
He was the loving husband of Maryellen Pierlott Maicher, brother of Rudolph Maicher (Eileen), Gerard Maicher and the late Gregory M. and James Maicher, he is also survived by his godson Gregory and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday, April 12, 2024 at St. Jude R.C. Church, 1402 E. 10th Street, Eddystone, PA 19022. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
