Anyone who knew him well could tell you that building his cabin up on "the Yankee Fork" was his pride and joy. The summer months were always filled with building projects, four-wheeling, hiking, and floating the river. Mark also loved to go wood cutting every fall and enjoy the hard-earned crackle of the fire place. During the winter, they would snowshoe up the mountain and spend the weekend sledding, building snow forts, and driving around in the "Argo" ATV. Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth.
