Mark Steven McDuffie was born on August 10, 1966, and passed from this life on June 27, 2023. Mark was humble, selfless and kind to everyone. His greatest love was his family. Mark was a loving and faithful husband and the best father that his children could have asked for. He never missed an opportunity to support his children in any of their sporting events or activities.
Mark graduated from West Monroe High School and NLU with a degree in marketing. He had a career in computer sales for over 30 years.
Mark was an Eagle Scout and loved anything to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, tennis, and watching sports with the boys.
Mark was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, an active member of the Knights of Columbus and ACTS.
Mark is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Miletello McDuffie, and their children, John Mitchell, Charles (Charlie) and Ella. Mark is also survived by his mother, Clovis Ann McDuffie, his sisters Melinda Hanks May and Michelle Savell (Stephen), mother-in-law, Josephine Miletello, sisters-in-law, JoMarie Schaff (Greg), Leslie Miletello, Diane Miletello Mulhearn (Butch), and brother-in-law Larry Miletello (Sandra). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Matthew and Marylane Miletello, Colby and Courtney Miletello, Ben and Chelsie Schaff, Katie and Brett Allen, Sarah and Anthony Haines, Kallan Mulhearn, Rivers May, Keelan, Connor, and Cameron Hanks, and Maggie and Matthew Savell.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward McDuffie, father-in-law, Mitchell Miletello and brother-in-law, Michael Miletello.
Visitation will be held Friday June 30, 2023 at Mulhearn Funeral Home on 165 in Monroe from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Dr. David Baughman, Larry Miletello, Butch Mulhearn, Tim Nelson, Matt Nolan, Greg Schaff, Mark Sikes, and Craig Spivey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Cascio, Jim Livigni, Dan Robertson and Chuck Smart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
