Mark Millar Obituary

Mark was born to Andrew and Florence Millar on April 27, 1957 in England. Mark was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who served proudly during Desert Storm. He was a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic for most of his military life. Mark was a huge fan of NASCAR and his Washington Commanders NFL team. He enjoyed shopping at Walmart and Home Depot. Mark loved to BBQ, boating and fishing but most of all spending most of his time with family and friends. He was known to many as Mr. Fix It. Anyone needed help with something, he was always there to help. Mark was a genuine guy who loved life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Janet Arbogast; his daughter, Allison Paige Gleason of Florence, SC and stepdaughters, Michelle Charbonneau and Genevieve Smith both of North Port; his stepsons, Edward Arbogast, Jr. of Patchogue, NY and Jason Arbogast of Newark, NJ; and his step grandchildren, Aiden, Brandon, Hayley, Kylie, Erica and Preston.
A visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a Scripture Service at 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30PM with full Military Honors by a U.S Air Force Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.

I am Mark's wife Janet, we had many good years of love and happiness together. He was a kind man who had a heart of gold and there was nothing that he would not do for me. He always wanted to do things for me and I would always do things for him. Mark my dear husband I miss you so very much. I will love you forever for the rest of my life.

Mark saved my son in the Goldsboro NC Walmart. My son was suffering from heat and Mark got to him before he passed out. They paged me and Mark was standing there holding my son. I was stationed at RAF Woodbridge UK and at Seymour Johnson AFB with Mark.

I´ve known Mark for over 40 years. We were Crew Chiefs at Langley together in the early 80´s. We always had a good time together. Soar High Brother!

I knew Mark (Dusty) for my entire 20 year military career, a fellow F-15 and A-10 crew chief. Some of my best military memories have Mark in them. He was one-of-a-kind, a true friend, honest and funny. To my old crew chief, pull chocks and push up the throttles for one more max-climb to glory. Oz
