Mark E. Moszczysnki, 65, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He grew up in Lyndhurst before moving to Stockholm where he lived for over 30 years. Mark was a dedicated truck driver for many years, starting his career with Preston Trucking in Kearny, then moving on to Yellow Freight System in Montville before they relocated to Carlstadt. Most recently, he was employed with Teamsters Local 641. Known for his lighthearted nature and carefree spirit, Mark was a man who loved life. He enjoyed the thrill of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mark was always the one to put on a spectacular display of fireworks, especially during the 4th of July celebrations where his neighbors would line up to watch. He also enjoyed watching the Mets.
A humble, down-to-earth man, Mark had a gift for making people laugh and lightening the mood for everyone he encountered. His friendships spanned from his coworkers and neighbors to anyone he may have crossed paths with in the past. He shared many wonderful memories with his beloved wife, Tracy, including attending rock and roll concerts from artists like Kid Rock, John Hiatt, and John Fogerty, just to name a few, creating moments that will live on in their hearts forever. Mark's infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
Mark was predeceased by his devoted parents, Edward (2008) and Anna (2019) Moszczynski and by his dear brother, Joseph Moszczysnki (2025) just last month. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Tracy Moszczysnki (nee Ryans), by his loving sisters, Elizabeth Linn, JoAnn Coyne and her husband, Rob, and Cathy Lee and her husband, Jim, by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Keith and Kathy Ryans, and by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 3 - 7 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1 at 9 AM then to St. Michael's Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.
