Mark William Moxley, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Iowa on August 12, 1962, Mark lived a life marked by hard work, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved.
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Mark carried his drive and determination into every part of his life. He was a dedicated small business owner, running his own oil change and minor car repair service for many years and earning the trust of his community.
Mark was an avid car enthusiast, especially fond of Oldsmobile Toronados—owning four throughout his life. As a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America, he enjoyed sharing his passion and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts.
He was also a devoted member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Overland Park, where his faith provided him with guidance and strength.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210.
Mark is preceded in passing by his parents Regina N. Moxley and Frank (Bill) Moxley. Mark is survived by his step-father Steve Staab, his uncle Roland Landsness, his daughter Meg, and his son Will.
Mark will be remembered for his steady spirit, his craftsmanship, and his lifelong enthusiasm for learning and living fully.
