Mark Newman

Mark Alan Newman, known affectionately to many as "Pops", was born on April 8, 1968, in Little Rock, AR, USA. He departed from this life on September 25, 2024. His life of 56 years was characterized by a love for family, a passion for motorcycles and hot rods, and a resilience that defined him in even the most challenging times.
Mark resided in Judsonia, Arkansas, for the last year of his life, he was a survivor and no matter the circumstances, he would always come out on top. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures life offered. Riding motorcycles across the beautiful landscapes of Arkansas was one of his favorite pastimes, but it was in the company of his family that he found his greatest joy. Mark was a man who valued love and connection above all else, and he fostered these traits in his family.
Mark is survived by his father Larry Newman and step-mother Pam Newman; his children Ashlee Hicks (Brad), Patrick Newman, and Mark Jr.; his grandchildren Brodie Long, Abigail Long, Mia Hicks, Benny Hicks and Zaniyah Newman; and his siblings Tammy Newman, Gary Newman, Tiffany Newman, and Tina Newman. He was preceded in death by his mother Becky Deeds, and his grandparents Troy and Patsy Newman. Each of these family members brought joy, love, and meaning to Mark's life, and his impact on their lives will never be forgotten.
A private committal will be held in the new Chapel of Light in the Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center by Humphrey Funeral Service.
