Mark Allen Odoms was born on March 7, 1999, in Washington, D.C., to his late mother, Kanita Odoms, and father, Victor McEachin. He was Kanita's beloved eldest son and the eldest boy of her six children. Mark lived an incredibly vibrant life until his untimely departure on December 5, 2024. He was a radiant soul whose warmth and vivacity touched everyone he encountered.
Mark was a charismatic salesman in the private sector with his brand Immortal, weaving stories and building connections with an infectious enthusiasm that made him a joy to be around. His lively spirit, boundless energy, and unique dedication to his craft were admired and cherished by all who knew him. A proud product of Prince George's County public schools, Mark spent much of his life in Washington, D.C., where he developed a deep connection to the Southeast community, particularly the area near Parkchester Apartments, which he fondly called home. Known for his creativity and artistic spirit, Mark expressed himself through music, drawing, and fashion. His passion for art and style was a reflection of his vibrant personality and unique sense of self. Mark left an indelible impact on those who knew him, whether through the beats of his favorite songs or the strokes of his sketches.
Mark was a loving son, brother, uncle, and father. He was a pillar of strength and support for his family, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. His kindness, humor, and warmth will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Kanita Odoms, grandmother Deborah Robinson, uncle Roger "JR" Robinson, and cousin, Kerry Odoms. Mark is lovingly remembered by his son Mason Odoms, father, Victor McEachin, and his siblings: Lawrencia "Wren" Odoms, Lamar Odoms, Lamont Odoms, Markese Odoms, and Angelique "Little" Langlet. Mark also had a special bond with his two aunts, Laresa Johnson and Kimberly Odoms, and two uncles, Larry Baruwa and Michael Baruwa, as well as a host of other family and friends. His memory will be cherished forever by his family and all who shared in his life's journey.
Mark departed this world too soon, leaving a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends. Mark may no longer walk among us, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
