Mark Alexander Painter

Mark Alexander Painter, 34, of Chesnee, South Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. He was born November 25, 1990, to Mark Edwin Painter and Kenda McClellan Painter of Chesnee.
Alex was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Chesnee High School where he was in marching band and played varsity football. He also attended SCC and Greenville Technical College. Alex loved cars, basketball, and music, and was an avid Clemson fan. He loved camping and being in nature. Alex enjoyed working outside, going on family vacations to the beach and the mountains, and working out with his Dad. He was a gifted artist. Alex also loved helping people and volunteering at the Soup Kitchen. Alex was a former employee of BMW in Greer, South Carolina.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by a brother, John Adam Painter; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 1:00PM at Stateline Baptist church with the Rev. Jack Pattillo and Rev. Kris Showen officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00PM at the church, one hour prior to the service.
