Mark E. Peot, 78, Green Bay, passed away, Thursday morning, December 28, 2023, following complications of a recent surgery. Born January 2, 1945, in Algoma, he is the son of the late Robert and Carol (Bouche) Peot. Mark is a graduate of Algoma High School, Class of 1963. Mark honorably served in the US Air Force as part of the Strategic Air Command. After his honorable discharge, he worked for IBM. Mark later purchased and operated Waube Lodge in Lakewood, WI. He eventually moved to Colorado Springs where he started Peot Office Products and operated the company for many years, before selling the company and returning to Wisconsin only a few years ago to spend time with his family. Mark will be remembered for his enjoyment of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping and spending time on the golf course. 

Mark is survived by two sons, Gary (Pierette) Peot of South Dakota and Curtis (Vicky) Peot of Colorado and their mother, Barbara Peot of Green Bay; his siblings, Mary (Al) Piper of Green Bay, Marge (Bernie) LeGreve of Green Bay, Cathy (David) Hoppe of De Pere, Paul (Donna) Peot of New Berlin, Robert (Carla) Peot of De Pere, and Ron (Cindy) Peot of Sun Prairie; Special friends, Kathy Peot and Ann Lenz; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Peot.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4-7pm.  Memorial service at 7pm at the funeral home with Chaplain Judy Koeune-Brown officiating with full military honors to follow. Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Algoma where he will be laid to rest next to his grandparents, Orbie and Helen Bouche.

The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Edenbrook and Bristol Hospice; along with the caring doctors, nurses, and staff of Aurora BayCare Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital.
