Mark Brooks Pinnick

Mark Brooks Pinnick of Winona Lake, Indiana passed away at home on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the age of 74. A man of few words, reserved in character, yet deeply devoted to and loved his family immensely. His life spoke volumes through his actions and dedication to those he loved.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, he was born on June 6, 1951, in Warsaw, Indiana to Joanne (Schneider) and Brooks Charles Pinnick. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1969. Mark was the beloved owner and friendly face at Warsaw B&K on Winona Avenue for many years. Before he retired in 2014, he happily served 1000's of Warsaw residents and family members many hot dogs, tenderloins, fries, ice-cream and refreshing drinks at the Warsaw B&K on Winona Avenue for many years.
Mark spent many hours enjoying his friends at the Bowling Alley, was an avid I.U. fan, and was known for his Mitsubishi Mini Truck. More than anything he loved his family and could always be counted on for simply being Dad and being available for his girls. So many incredible memories were made over the years with his daughters, from a coast-to-coast road trip with his daughter Emily when she graduated, to the many meals he made with love for friends and family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Erinn (Tim) Tjernagel (Winona Lake, IN); Emily (Dylan) Smith (Fort Wayne, IN); four grandchildren, Ethan Tjernagel, Deegan Krichbaum, Cylus Montague, Ophelia Smith and one more on the way. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles T. (Ann) Pinnick (Leesburg, IN); Theodore B. (Laura) Pinnick (Shaker Heights, OH); his sister, Elizabeth K. Pinnick (Indianapolis, IN); and many, many lifelong friends in Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Brooks on January 1, 2005, and his mother, Joanne on April 26, 2007.
Mark's life will be celebrated with a memorial visitation from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. Friends and family are invited to Mark's celebration of his life immediately following visitation at the Warsaw Bowl, 1702 E. Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana.
