Mark Steven Poffenberger, 58, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday February 28, 2025 at his home in Paw Paw.
He was born December 7, 1966, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of John Philip Poffenberger and Barbara Lou (Rice) Poffenberger.
Mark was an avid woodworker and enjoyed working on his many projects. He worked as a computer programmer and loved tinkering with his technical gadgets. He spent a lot of time indulging in a good book. Most of all, he adored his family and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn (Harlan) Poffenberger; daughter, Emily (Lance) Hanson; two sons, Russell (Alexandra) and Steven Poffenberger; brother, David (Kelly) Poffenberger; sisters, Sue (Colynn) Bender and Julie Barnes and his cherished grandchildren, Zander Hanson, Everly Hanson, Elena Poffenberger and Wyatt Poffenberger.
Mark was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has taken place, per Mark's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
