Mark was born in Reading, PA on June 9, 1961, a son of the late Mary (Schuchart) and Michael Polyak. He graduated from Reading High School in 1979. After being employed at Dana Corp. for almost 20 years, he spent the next 20 years as a technician for Ehrlich Pest Control. He was the husband of Kathy (Kemp) Polyak, who survives him.
In addition to his wife, Kathy, Mark is survived by a son, Mark J. Polyak Jr., of Temple, PA. Mark is also survived by a sister, Shelly Polyak, of West Reading, Pa. Three brothers, Michael, husband of Gloria Polyak, of Reading, PA; Kevin, husband of Linda Polyak, of Shillington, PA; David Polyak, of West Lawn, PA.
Besides spending time with family, Mark was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He recently got to a game this year to see a win. When he wasn't glued to the tv watching sports, he was the neighborhood handyman. He was always there for those that needed an extra hand.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Kathy and Mark. I am so sorry for the loss of Mark. I use to enjoy some of Steeler talk with him when I worked at Turkey Hill. He was a good man. May Jesus hold you both in his loving arms.

Very sorry to hear of Mark´s passing. Nothing but fond memories growing up with Mark in Glenside. Countless days spent hanging out with Mark & Chip at Chip´s house. Grudge match 2 on 2 basketball battles at Post´s basketball court behind Chip´s house and many more memories too numerous to mention here. Mark was the true definition of a good person and he will be missed. May God bless you brother!

Rest in peace Brother Mark. Lots of fun memories at PN Race Track (Sids Bill), Yamaha 250 crazily up to Track and back, countless RHS Basketball games and their recent championships, countless PPV Boxing Events and Sixers games and 1983 Championship and Holidays to name a few.

No doubt you´re with family who passed before you including Pat Lattanzio.

We´ll all be together some day. Until that day, eternal rest to you Brither Mark!

Heartfelt prayers and condolences to the family. I worked with Mark for years. He had a great sense of humor we shared plenty of laughter together and he also had a very caring demeanor lending a hand to many. Family and the Steelers were where his heart was. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace brother.
