Mark Charles Reimer, 63, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly the morning of December 27, 2024, at his beloved trailer on White Potato Lake. He was born in Green Bay to Donald and Mavis (Seppel) Reimer on July 20, 1961. The family later moved to Algoma and Mark graduated from Algoma High School. He met Betty Varga when she was 18. They spent nine years together before marrying on May 30, 1992, and enjoyed 32 years of marriage. Mark was a "girl" dad to his and Betty's three daughters Autum, Karli, and Maddie. He adored those girls and was so proud of all of them.
Mark was employed at Algoma Plumbers Woodwork in maintenance until they closed in 1993. He worked at Fitesa in Green Bay until he retired at the age of 62.
Mark loved going to their trailer on White Potato Lake and loved to bake, grill, and use his smoker, whether at the lake or at home. He was well known for his snickerdoodle cookies. Mark loved the Christmas season and was teased for his "over decorating". He, Betty, and the girls had just celebrated what seemed like the "perfect' Christmas. Mark loved watching the Green Bay Packers play and playing golf with his brothers. He loved listening to music and had a great sense of humor. Anyone who knew Mark experienced his kind heart. Mark was a loving and helpful son to his mother and was always willing to lend a hand to Betty's parents when needed.
He leaves behind his loving wife Betty, his three daughters Autum, Karli, and Maddie, and his brothers William Dunkert, Doug (JoAnn) Reimer, and Steve Reimer, Mark is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Mary Bauer, Bob and Linda Adlebush, Wayne Buell, Dave and Nancy Varga, Steve Varga, Harold Varga, Walt Varga, Gary and Louise Varga and Dan and Kathy Nessinger. Other survivors include many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Keith and Glen, and sister Ronelle. Also preceding him in death are his father- and mother-in-law, Burt and Violet Varga, sister-in-law and co-worker Jean Buell, sister-in-law Debbie Varga, brothers-in-law Al Varga and Jerry Bauer, niece Stacy Woods, nephews Jessie Varga and Joe Bauer, great niece Katie Bauer and great nephew Zander Schenzel Varga.
A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held at a later date.

Betty and Girls.
I am at a loss for words. Mark was such an amazing neighbor at the lake. You both helped me in so many ways. I loved your stories and I am honored to gotten to know him. I am not sure what I am going to do without the greatest Goose chaser, it´s a huge task to take on. I will do my best in his honor to keep them away. Please let me know what I can do for you and the girls.
Hugs. Kim Allen
