He was preceded in death by his father, William Kenneth Richardson Jr., and his mother, Iretta Jean Richardson.
Mark is survived by his husband of 27 years, Michael Leigh Smith of Milton, FL; and his brother, Bradford Richardson of Seattle, Washington.
Services for Mark Richardson will be held at a later date for family only.
The family wishes to thank the staff at VITAS Healthcare and the staff at Woodlands Medical Center.
Donations may be made to the cancer research organization of your choice in his name.
