Mark Allen Rieks

Mark Rieks, age 72, of Hubbard, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Mercy One North in Mason City, Iowa.
He was cremated and Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard are caring for Mark and his family.
Mark Allen Rieks was born in Iowa Falls, IA on September 26, 1951. He was the youngest of three children born to Earl and Maxine (Meier) Rieks.
Mark grew up on a farm north of Hubbard. He received his education by attending Hubbard Community Schools where he graduated with the Class of 1969.
After high school, he farmed with his father. He also drove for Decker Truck Line and later for Iowa Veterinary Supply while continuing to farm. He took over farming operations after Earl passed away. He put in his last crop in 2018.
On May 23, 1991 Mark was united in marriage to Christina Robles on Long Beach, CA.
Mark was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Hubbard.
Mark enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was very fond of his dog Ginger.
Death came to Mark on November 3, 2023 at Mercy One North in Mason City, IA.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife Christina Robles of Hubbard, IA; one sister Maryann Nelson of Irvine, CA; along with many other relatives and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Wendell.
