Mark Rindahl

Mark Rindahl, 73 of Goodridge, MN passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023.
The service to celebrate Mark's life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 15, 2023 at Ekelund Lutheran Church, rural Goodridge, MN with Pastor Dawn Hanson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Little Oak Cemetery, Hickory Township, Pennington County, MN.
Mark Donavon Rindahl was born May 30, 1950 in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Mervin and Doris (Brovold) Rindahl. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. He attended District 59 country school, graduated from Goodridge High School with the class of 1968 and then attended Bemidji State College.
Mark worked for area farmers following his school years and then became a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Through the years, he worked for various construction companies in the area including, Thorson Construction and Reierson Construction in Bemidji, MN, Davidson Construction in Holt, MN and most recently, Jeff Olson Construction in Thief River Falls.
At a dance in Oklee, MN in the fall of 1974, Mark met his future wife, LuAnn Sundrud. They were married on November 27, 1976 at the Vernes Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh, MN. The couple lived north of Highlanding for a short time and in 1980 they purchased a farm in Star Township, Pennington County, MN. To this union three children were born, Amanda, Matthew and Sara. On their farm they raised small grains and hay.
Mark enjoyed hunting, gardening and loved cutting wood. He also enjoyed evenings out with LuAnn and visiting with the neighbors.
Mark was a member of Ekelund Lutheran Church, rural Goodridge, MN.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, LuAnn of Goodridge; children, Amanda (Grant) Frenzel and their children Jacob & Isaac of Bemidji, MN, Matthew (Judith) Rindahl and their children Marcus & Julianna and Sara (Wyatt) Alby and their children, Kalli & Arlen all of Goodridge, MN; sisters, Pam Prigge of Mt. Iron, MN and Teri Danielson of rural Gonvick, MN; sister-in-law, Vicky Rindahl of Goodridge; brothers-in-law, Ordean (Carol) Sundrud and Raymond (Lynn) Sundrud all of Fosston, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas and Paul; infant twins, Thomas and Donald; father & mother-in-law, Orvin (Lois) Sundrud; mother-in-law, Sylvia Sundrud; brothers-in-law, Virgil Prigge, Allen Danielson & Jim Sundrud.
