Guest Book
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Adam Rogers on January 15, 2025, at the age of 46. Mark was born on March 3, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana to John and Margie (Finnerty) Rogers of New Palestine, Indiana.
Mark graduated from New Palestine High School in 1996 and went on to Ball State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology degrees. Post-graduate, Mark later earned his Certified Public Accounting and numerous other public accounting designations.
Mark began his accounting career as an Auditor with Arthur Andersen, LLP and, over the years, eventually applied his skills and financial savvy in the private sector as a Finance and Accounting Executive.
Mark met the love of his life and beloved wife, Paula Rogers of 23 years. Together, they embarked upon their life journey in Indianapolis, where they were married at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on August 2, 2003. With opportunity in full view, Mark and Paula moved to Allen, Texas. There, they were blessed with the birth of their wonderful son, Mason Alexander. Over time, Mark's career took their growing family to Boca Raton, Florida, Columbus, Georgia, and eventually Estero, Florida, where they currently reside.
Mark's zest for life, love of golf, and his avid fandom of the Indianapolis Colts made an impression on everyone he met - no matter where he lived. But the greatest impression he made in lifetime was his total love and devotion as a family man - first and always - to Paula and Mason.
Preceded in passing is his mother, Margie (Finnerty) Rogers, his brother Daniel Rogers, and his mother-in-law Mary Jane Wagner.
Mark is survived by his wife Paula and son Mason of Estero, FL, his father John of New Palestine, IN, sister Amy Martin and husband Rodney of Shelbyville, IN, father-in-law Julian Wagner, sisters-in-law Nancy Leming (Kris), Amy Begley (Ron), Denise Waidlich (Dan) and brother-in-law Chris Wagner (Madonna), nieces, Olivia and Maggie Martin, nephews, Zack Martin, Adam Waidlich, Aaron Leming, Kevin Wagner, Matthew Leming and Owen Begley, great-nephew Keller Wagner, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was a member of Our Lady of Light Roman Catholic Church, Fort Meyers, FL.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, January 25th at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 10-2pm, followed by a Catholic Liturgy of the Word beginning at 2pm, with entombment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
