Mark Daniel Shatek, a beloved husband and Army veteran passed away on July 2, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 67.
Born on October 28, 1956, in Austin, Minnesota to Vernon and Marie (Hanson) Shatek, Mark served his country with pride in the Army, enlisting on May 16, 1984, and rising to the rank of Private Second Class before his honorable discharge on May 20, 1985. He then pursued a career in housing, working as a landlord and providing homes for many individuals and families.
Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Shatek. Together, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Mark will be laid to rest at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN with military honors at a later date.
