Mark Anthony Sherlin

Mark Anthony Sherlin, born on March 4, 1962, in Durham, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 63 years old.

Mark was a dedicated employee of Advanced Auto Parts, where he worked diligently for 12 years. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Mark was an avid fan of WWE wrestling and cherished his time spent fishing. Above all, he valued the moments shared with his family and loved being at home, surrounded by those he held dear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Cecilia Barker Sherlin, and his brother, Barry Sherlin. Mark leaves behind a legacy of love and memories through his surviving family: his brother Larry Sherlin and sister-in-law Sharron, his niece Cynthia GallegosLujano, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the warmth and kindness he brought into their lives.

Mark will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his laughter, and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace.
