Charlotte Wanda Sobanski

Charlotte Wanda Sobanski, born on September 22, 1944, in the vibrant borough of Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was 81 years old.

Charlotte's journey through life was marked by her caring nature and gentle spirit. After a fulfilling career focused on defensive driving, she retired in 2009, dedicating her time to the simpler pleasures of life. In early 2024, Charlotte made the heartfelt decision to move to North Carolina to be closer to her beloved sister, Patricia.

A nurturing soul, Charlotte found joy in the comfort of her home, where she could indulge in her love for game shows and of dogs and other animals. Known for her empathy and kindness, she was a gentle presence to all who knew her. Her warmth and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte and John Sobanski, as well as two sisters and one brother. She leaves behind a family who will remember her with love and gratitude: her devoted sister Patricia Klaiber, Sister Eleanor Pennachio, two nephews, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held at this time. Charlotte will be interred at West Minster Gardens at a later date, where she will rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family.
