He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Reva Shirley; brother, Alan Shirley and brother in law, Robert Burns.
He is survived by wife of 18 years, Rhonda Shirley; sons, Matthew (Kassi) Shirley and Terry (Michelle) Jones; daughters, Christi (Raymond) Yates and Jessica (James) Johnson and many loving grand children and great grandchildren; brothers; Denny (Linda) Shirley and Donnie (Jackie) Shirley; sisters, Carol (Larry) Ashenfelter and Sharon Burns.
Mark was a 1981 graduate of Keyser High School in Keyser, West Virginia and worked as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Hennessy Industries. Mark found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was fishing, cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers, or watching NASCAR.
A Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held at Partlow Funeral Chapel on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
