Mark Spang Obituary
Born in Oswego, NY, Mark resided in Delaware before moving to Medford 60 years ago. A man that could fix anything, he was a self-employed construction worker and even built his house and his daughter's house. Mark was a former lifeguard and swim teacher in Medford Lakes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his Philadelphia Eagles.
Son of the late Raymond Spang and predeceased by his brothers Casey Spang and Mike Spang; he is survived by his mother, Nancy Spang; his loving wife of 43 years, Gina Spang (nee Bucciala); his three children, Dena Walsh (Kim), Shana Unangst (Jon), and Mark Spang, Jr. (Rosemary); his siblings, Patrick Spang (Kim), Nancy Marconi, and Jenny McElvar (Jack); 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mark's memory to Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation, 200 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015; or to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mathis Funeral Home in Medford, NJ. Condolences for the family may be left at www.mathisfuneralhome.com.
