Mark William Steen

Mark William Steen, 70, of Louisiana, MO, died peacefully at his home with his loving wife of 37 years by his side, after winning so many health battles since 2011. Mark was a gentle soul who loved restoring classic vehicles. He was born in Sacramento, CA and attended school in Sacramento. He then moved to San Leandro, CA where he worked making lenses for glasses.

He was talented and could do many things so he opened a small construction company and worked it until 2007. He fell in love with Louisiana, MO and him and his wife bought a home here in 2005 and moved here in 2007. He loved working on his vehicles. He had many friends here in Louisiana, so being here was a gift. His favorite things to do was fishing in Baja, CA, going to car shows and car races.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother. He was married to his wife Jeannette on February 14, 1988 and she survives. He is also survived by a daughter, 2 brothers, a sister, a niece, and a nephew all of California.
