Mark Syring

Mark Syring, 54, of Granite Falls, passed away Monday, April 11th at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation will be held Friday, April 29th from 5 to 7pm at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home.
Mark Alan Syring was born December 3, 1967, the son of Harold and Marjorie (McDeid) Syring in Granite Falls. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He graduated from the Granite Falls High School. Mark continued his education at Mankato State University.
Mark returned to Granite Falls and was employed with Granite Coating for many years. He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could fishing and hunting. He would take trips with friends to Hobo Park and Lac qui Parle and spend the week fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching football games. Family was very important to Mark and he cherished time spent with them. His niece and great nephews held a special place in his heart.
Mark passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was 54 years of age.
He is survived by his mother Marjorie, sister Melodee, niece Shantel (Joe) and great nephews: Dominic and Jorge.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold, uncle Alvin and his cat Marley.
