Mark Tomzick, 65, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Pompton Plains, NJ. Born in Hoboken, NJ, Mark grew up in Pequannock. In 1993, he moved the family to Bloomingdale, NJ and remained there indefinitely.
Mark worked as a marble mechanic for BAC Local 7 Tile, Marble & Terrazzo Union of New York and New Jersey. He was an active member of the Appalachian Fiddle & Bluegrass Association in Windgap, PA., and was also a golf enthusiast and dart player.
Mark is pre-deceased by his loving wife of 42 loving years, Lisa, his dear father, Robert R. Tomzick and his brother, Robert S. Tomzick. He is survived by his dear mother, Doris Tomzick (nee Asermily); his sons, Mark Jr. and David; his brothers, Eric and Kenny; and his sisters Karen and Cindy. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Mark, Colton and Nash Tomzick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2:00PM – 6:00 PM at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:30 PM., on Saturday, also at the funeral home. All other services will be private.
