Lisa Tomzick, a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving sister, and beloved grandmother, left this world on June 16, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 3, 1962, in Pompton Plains, NJ, Lisa's journey of life was one marked by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering love for those she held dear.
As a Medical Assistant, Lisa devoted her career to the health care industry, tirelessly working for various companies to ensure the well-being of others. This vocation mirrored her gentle nature and her desire to care for everyone around her. A proud graduate of Butler High School in 1980, she furthered her education at Berdan Institute in Totowa, where she made the Dean's List, showcasing her perseverance and commitment to excellence.
Lisa was known for her radiant smile, her beautiful blue eyes, and her infectious spirit. She was the kind of person who brought warmth to every room she entered, a true hugger who loved fiercely. Her loyalty to her family was unparalleled; she was always there, ready to lend support, whether through a warm embrace or a listening ear.
Her hobbies were as vibrant as her personality. Lisa found joy in camping under the stars, swinging clubs on the golf course, bowling with friends, and the quiet tranquility of fishing. Her heart extended beyond her immediate family to her five beloved shelter dogs, whom she raised with the same love and devotion she bestowed upon her human family.
Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 42 loving years, Mark Sr.; her two sons, Mark Jr. and Dave; her sister, Lori Cassidy (Bob); her cherished grandchildren, Mark, Colton, and Nash; and their great-grandmother , Doris Tomzick. Each life she touched is a testament to the love she shared.
Visitation for Lisa Tomzick will be held on June 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc., located at 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A Funeral Service will follow, beginning at 7:30 PM on the same day.
