Mark "The Plumber" Travisano

Mark Thaddeus Travisano passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 24, 2024. Mark "the Plumber" as he was known to friends and loved ones was born on February 22, 1958, in New Haven, CT to Marie Germe Travisano and the late Joseph Travisano. Mark leaves behind the pride and joy of his life, his beloved children Stephanie (Steve) Annecharico, Kostas (Rachel) Travisano, and Lindsay (Frank) Ciarlone. Mark was the proud owner of United Plumbing for over 35 years and serviced all of Connecticut. Outside of work, Mark was a fixture at his best friend's restaurant, Lorenzo's of West Haven, who was like another brother. Mark was known for his larger-than-life presence-lighting up every room he walked into. He enjoyed nothing more than making people laugh and never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. Above all, Mark cherished his family and friends and was always there for everyone. Mark had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back if it meant helping a loved one in need.
In addition to his mother and children, Mark is survived by his siblings Anthony (Patty) Travisano, JoAnn (Alan) D'Auria, and his brother-in-law, "Big Steve" Tracey, in addition to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jacquelin "Jackie" Tracey. Mark will be missed by all, especially his children.
Relatives and friend are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 11:00am in St. Vincent dePaul Church-St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, 80 Taylor Avenue.
