Robert K. Kohary

Robert K. Kohary, of Wallingford passed away November 10, 2025 in Mid State Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, CT on July 14, 1953, son of the late Robert "KoKo" and Dorothy Koteles Kohary, Bob was a graduate of the New York Military Academy, attaining the rank of Captain. He later worked for Radio Frequency Systems for many years. He enjoyed traveling, trips to Mohegan Sun, attending concerts and the theatre, Thursday night poker games with his buddies and his uncle Ken Kohary, as well as hunting and fishing with family and friends. Bob is survived by his longtime significant other Sonjia Vaughn, stepdaughter Krista Vitale, siblings David (Susan) Kohary and Karen (Ron) Gizzi and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. Inurnment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
