Mark Wallen Obituary
His sunrise was on August 3, 1950, to Ora J Wallen and Maxine C Roark in Chester, Pa.
Mark had a passion for playing the drums, starting at the age of 14. His mother said that she always knew where he was. He played the harmonica with best friend, David in the school talent show, calling themselves the Harmonicats.
After he graduated from Christiana High School with the class of "69", he was given the opportunity to travel the world with 70's vocal duo " Peaches and Herb". Best known for hits "reunited" and "shake your groove thing" as their production manager. Mark also played with several local bands throughout his lifetime.
Mark was a respected contractor in the area, owner of "Always There Remodeling" As the name states, if you were a customer of his, you were a customer for life. He was there for you no matter what time of day. He remodeled countless kitchens, basements and bathrooms over the years. His passion was painting and custom bars.
He loved working in the yard and built a beautiful stone wall. He enjoyed feeding the deer and birds, watching the fox and Hawks. He was a homebody and enjoyed movies, History Channel and the cowboy channel. We were able to travel to Disney, the Bahamas and Cancun. For our 25th anniversary, we went to Hawaii.
He was a kind, patient and loving soul. He taught me that priorities changed by the minute and to go with the flow. He loved playing miniature golf and UNO with granddaughter, Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters Barbara Fisher and Joan McCormick.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Correll Wallen. Stepsons, Mark Dally Jr. and Erick Dally. Granddaughter Savannah Dally. Sister Janet Simione and brother Gary Wallen and a large extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on March 7, at Singerly Firehall, 300 Newark Ave., Elkton, MD 21921 from 4-7pm.

Uncle Mark, there are so Many ways, You impacted my life. But, You already know that. Hell, I named My DaDdys truck after you and cousin Mark. " Ole' Mark." Give Mom, and Bubba a hug and kiss for me. Plzathnku. I was going to go up there for you whatever people are calling it now. Then, I remembered if Ole' Mark breaks down from here to there. I Couldn't call you. I Love and Respect you More than most humans.
