Mark Woods Obituary
Mark was born on July 31, 1963, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Patsy Ahart Woods and the late Jimmy G. Woods. He worked in water and sewer construction. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting artifacts, such as arrowheads. He was a member of Wynne Baptist Church.
Mark is survived by his son, Dalton Ahart Woods of Jonesboro, mother, Patsy A. Woods of Wynne, brother, Chris Woods, and wife Charissa of Wynne, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Ann Woods, in 2013, and his stepdaughter, Lindsey Elana Brewer in 2012.
Visitation will be held at Kernodle Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2 p. m. at Harris Chapel Cemetery. Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 Matthews Avenue, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
