HMCM (Ret) Mark Allen Wright, Sr. age 67, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Mark was born on August 11, 1956, in Nashville, TN to the late Fuston Elmor Wright and Alice Inez Meadows Wright. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Brigida Chlarson Pangilinan Wright and sisters, Tammy Marks, and Alicia Davis. He is survived by his son, Mark Wright, Jr.: daughter, Misty Levin; brother, Bruce Wright; grandchildren, Dakota Wilver, Kayla Wright, Lillyonna Huffman, Austin Allgood, Mark Levin and great grandson, Robert James Lee Huffman.
Mark enlisted in the United States Navy in September of 1989 as a Hospital Corpsman and served his county for 27 years. Mark was a loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. He had many hobbies, he loved woodworking, and you can bet that blood, sweat and tears went into every project. He helped his community by establishing a Safe Haven. He was a great storyteller and liked telling jokes. He was particularly fond of spoiling all the grandkids, sugaring them up and sending them back to their parents. He will be dearly missed and loved by all.
