She was born on June 9, 1958, in Warrensburg, MO to Harold and Bobbie Jean (Johnson) McClure.
On July 12, 1980, she and Larry Kirkpatrick were united in marriage in Warrensburg, MO.
Marla is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter, Brea Worthington and her husband Aaron; her sister, Jonelle McClure; her granddaughter, Emma Worthington; and her grandson, Bowen Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Robin McClure.
Marla will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished through a legacy of stories, laughter, and love shared with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens and a memorial book is available to sign at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home on the day prior to the service.
Contributions can be made to the Children's Memorial Garden with checks made payable to the Children's Memorial Trust.
