Marlena Sanchez, age 31, passed away on September 14, 2025. Marlena was born on May 20, 1994, to Mario Sanchez and Diane Sandoval Vela. She graduated from Moody High School in 2012. Marlena was employed by Eye Mami and enjoyed makeup, hair, music, going to the beach, and spending time with her boys. She will always be remembered for her beauty, sense of style, her strong personality, and devotion to her kids. Marlena was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, and cousin.

Marlena Sanchez is survived by her sons Santana, Sosa, and Sonny Haywood, stepson Andrue Haywood Jr., her parents Diane Vela and Ricardo Vela, her father Mario Sanchez, her sister and best friend Megan Sanchez (Kris Harvey), her brothers Mario Sanchez-Mendoza (Jesse Sanchez-Mendoza) and Ricardo Vela Jr. (Israel Soliz), her sisters at heart Erika Garza, Laci Garza (Julius Otero), her granny Anita Sandoval, her Aunt Lizzy (Liz Ayala), along with many members of her family.

She will be missed by many, including her clients and friends.

In our hearts, you will always stay, loved and remembered every day. Your legacy lives on in the love and values you instilled in your boys.
