Maria Jaramillo, age 89, passed away on September 28, 2025. Maria was born on July 8, 1936, to Leonarda Rodriguez and Carlos Hernandez. Maria was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, nurturing her family, and she especially loved Spanish Bingo. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, devotion to family, and the numerous amount of people who loved her. To Maria Jaramillo, family was everything. Maria was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and cousin to so many.

Maria Jaramillo is preceded in death by her husband Carlos, sisters Josie and Alexandra, and her brother Calistro.

Maria Jaramillo is survived by her children Linda Osteen (late Scott Osteen), Robert Jaramillo (Francis), Veronica Ysassi (Raymond), and Ryan Jaramillo (Laura), siblings Carlos (Severa) Hernandez and Janie Montemayor (Gregorio). She is also survived by many grandchildren, including twelve grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Ss. Cyrill & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Robert Jaramillo, Ryan Jaramillo, Eric Ruiz, Joshua Garza, Alfredo Martinez, and Adrien Martinez.
