Charlotte Jaramillo (84) of Aztec, was born in Cuba, NM on May 17, 1940. She passed peacefully on August 7, 2024 at home following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents Belarmino and Sefora Trujillo; Brothers Joe, Archie and Euesbio Trujillo; Sisters, Angie Trujillo, Margie Chavez and Erlinda Chavez.
She is survived by her husband, Ross Jaramillo of 64 years; her brother Leroy (Linda) Trujillo and sisters Gloria (Lee) Chavez, Hazel Chavez and Irene Sandoval. Her surviving children are Jimmy (Donna) Jaramillo and Judy (Gabriel) Albillar. Charlotte was blessed with 3 grandchildren; Jeric Jaramillo (Vincent), Devin Jaramillo and Delicia Padilla ((Jorge) and 3 great grandchildren; Destiny (Levi) Romero, Nevaeha Maestas and Jolicia Jones.
Charlotte was a devout Catholic and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Aztec, NM. She was a loving homemaker that cared for her family and always made time for her friends and loved ones. Her grandchildren always looked forward to the holidays at Grandma's house. She loved to bake and her biscochitos will be especially missed.
Charlotte was an avid bowler and part of a league for over 40 years. For over 20 years, she enjoyed exercising at the San Juan College Fitness Center. She will always be loved and will be dearly missed.
Reciting of the Rosary will take place at 10:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Aztec. Burial will take place at Aztec Cemetery. A reception at the Parish Hall will follow. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Charlotte, please visit our Tree Store.
