Marlene was born to Charles and Florence (Smith) Hall on November 26, 1937. She graduated from Pottstown High School in 1955 and worked for Kiwi for 34 years, until her retirement in 1993.
She did not tire in retirement. Instead, she traveled the world, spent time with family, played cards, and joined classmates for cherished monthly luncheons.
Marlene was predeceased by her sisters Pauline Hall, Dorothy Kulp, Eleanor Endy, Edith Allison, Joan Brenner, Joyce Kulp, and Constance Downie, and her brother, Charles Douglas Hall.
She is survived by her sister Phyllis (Sandy) Burton of Syracuse, N.Y., and three generations of nieces and nephews, who will remember her kindness, gentleness, and humor.
Visitation will be held on January 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home on Franklin Street in Pottstown, followed immediately by a memorial service. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
